 Dave, Sentinel Imaging's Repair Facility Manager,
enters information into our custom inventory and repair database. We track
all incoming, inventory, repair, QC and outgoing equipment data. Each sentinel employee has real time
access to locations
and status of all equipment in our shop. We
also maintain a history by customer and equipment. | There is no risk involved in acquiring imaging systems from Sentinel. We
keep everything operating at peak efficiency and follow through with
professional installation, calibrations and ongoing preventative
maintenance.
Our full service contract provides 100% coverage for all scanheads,
parts, travel and labor, plus two (2) scheduled
preventative maintenance inspections a year.
Compared to the manufacturers contract price, you
will save a full 25% - 35%. Our field technicians
give you exacting service and responsive personal
attention. Included, as part of this rigorous
testing, the accuracy of each of your
transducers is documented against a Phantom Image. |
All Preventative Maintenance inspections performed by Sentinel fulfill the
prerequisites for ICAVL and ACR accreditation as well as HMO reimbursement
policies for Obstetric and Gynecologic practices.
For damage not caused by normal conditions (not covered by our superior
warranty) our policy is to offer repair or replacement at a saving of 20% to
30% below what manufacturers charge. Call us for details.
Switching Service Providers? Emergency services and preventative maintenance
inspections are also available for new customers. You save 50% off the
manufacturers charges for all billable travel and labor, 25%-50% savings on
preventative maintenance, and up to 40% off the exchange price for all scan heads, peripherals and parts including TEE transducers.
TEE Transducer Service Contract:
In addition to our Full Service System Contract, we extend a special service
contract for Transesophageal Transducers (TEE Transducers).
Standard manufacturer warranties list bite marks, internal moisture damage
and other frequently occurring problems as caused by the customer.
Replacement costs are high and the introduction of unfamiliar equipment can
present other issues tied to reliability.
The Sentinel TEE Transducer Contract is a simple way to contain costs. Any
model from our extensive loan inventory can be shipped to you next day.
While you continue to see patients on schedule, we return your transducer to
factory-new condition, saving you thousands.
Our contract also covers normal wear and tear. All repairs backed by a
90-day warranty.
We charge a flat fee of $2000 for a loaner, in addition to the actual cost
for transducer repair (usually less than $2000 for bite marks). At this
time, manufacturers generally charge between $12,000 and $15,000 for an
annual contract. Each replacement transducer can cost an additional $9,000
to $12,000.
